Jack convinced Livvie to go to GH as Lucy mistook Tess for Livvie and took her there as well. Marissa wrote a new song. Livvie came through surgery fine but Tess ran off. Joshua fired Ricky. Alison's mother let her down again. Marissa and Jamal were spied upon. Jack tried to convince Jamal that Tess was real as Tess and Livvie both searched the hospital for Jack. Marissa issued an ultimatum and got a shock when Joshua refused to let her leave. Malcolm's will contained a surprise. Tess and Livvie came face to face. Marissa finally met Stephen Clay.

A slightly tipsy Brooke and Adam made love. Brooke was forced to hide Adam when Tad visited and Tad kept asking her about the previous night. Everyone in Pine Valley gathered at Wildwind to remember Leo. Anna told David that she would like to name her child in memory of his brother. Kendall and Trey disagreed about what to do with Vanessa's diamonds, but Trey ultimately used them to get out of a sticky situation. Edmund tried to impress Maria on their date.

Adam came home and convinced Abigail to return to Los Angeles with him. Molly arranged a meeting with Rosanna. As she agreed to tell Mike the truth, he approached them and reprimanded Rosanna. Bonnie continued to investigate the contents of the videotape. Marshall told Paul that James plans to return to Oakdale on Halloween. Paul agreed to give the videotape to Marshall in exchange for Marshall prosecuting James. Marshall hired Brandy to be at his disposal on Halloween. Will woke up and remembered starting the fire. He also remembered seeing Aaron trying to rescue him but Barbara pressured him into implicating Aaron as the fire starter. Aaron turned himself in and was put in jail but Alison freed him using Hal's keys. Lucy and Aaron fled to St. Louis to meet up with an old friend of his. Fearing the consequences of her actions and sad because she could not go with Lucy and Aaron, Alison ran away. Craig convinced Jack to allow press coverage of the wedding. Carly missed another appointment with the wedding photographer because she was consoling Craig. Rosanna hired Henry to put Carly and Craig under surveillance. Jack agreed to allow Katie and Simon investigate the fire.

C.J. continued to be agitated about Bridget and Mark's relationship. Massimo expressed his frustration to Sally about not being able to comfort Ridge. Amber told an unconscious Taylor that Erica was being released into James' custody. Taylor survived emergency heart surgery but was saddened to learn of the extent of her injuries as well as the prognosis if her heart rate did not remain below 90. Preparing for the worst, Taylor offered loving words of encouragement to Bridget, Brooke, Stephanie, her children as her heart rate continued to rise. After her doctors told her there was nothing more that could be done, Taylor said a tearful goodbye to Ridge and died quietly in his arms.

Alexander and the "ex-wives" club toppled Alan from his post at Spaulding, and than was even more horrified at sister dearest choice of guests at his wedding. Harley succumbed to Phillip's demands, and ended her relationship with a heartbroken Gus so she could win back custody of Zach. Eden and Tony, Ben and Marina; partners in crime, friends and/or forbidden love??? Phillip and Olivia ended up in very tight quarters minutes before the wedding trying to fight off their passion for each other. Cassie's eleventh hour change of heart didn't help much as Reva was sentenced to two years in prison. Cassie turned to Dax as a possible solution to help get Reva released from jail. Beth and Bill's relationship seemed to alienate just about everybody in Springfield, and was especially hurtful for Lizzie and Lillian. Danny asked Gus to help him put away Carmen, Maria and their associates by devising a plan to convict them for "his murder". Carmen thought discrepancies in her personal bank account and Cassie's mysterious payback on her loan were more than a coincidence.

As Tess grows increasingly weaker in the cave, Livvie, at the same time, grows weaker, having fallen into Alison's poisoned bath. Jack carefully lifts Tess and heads to GH while Livvie picks herself up and heads for that same location. When both women's hearts stop, Frank and Karen restart Livvie, also bringing Tess back to life. Having regained consciousness, Tess is carried back to the cave where she panics when she can't find her rag doll, "baby." As she hums Stephen Clay's song, "Naked Eyes," Jack tells her story which ultimately relaxes her. When he concludes the story with "happily ever after," he tells her what that means. Alison hopes to carefully break the news to Amanda that her son is dead, but Elizabeth makes it to the mansion before her. When Rafe learns that it's true that her father is dead, he then informs her that the police have been investigating her mother's part in his death. Her anger getting the best of her, Alison slaps Elizabeth. Jack sets out to town to stock up on supplies for the cave, but first shares a steamy kiss with Tess. Livvie, meanwhile, talks herself into the false reality that Jack will someday reunite with her. Just then, both Tess and Livvie double over with abdominal pain. Discovering that Joshua's contract is on the up-and-up doesn't seem to ease Jamal's unsettled mind. Both he and Ricky grow concerned that Marissa is in danger when she turns up missing. Marissa, meanwhile, disappears after following too closely behind Joshua.

Vanessa escaped and threatened to kill Greenlee if Leo did not find her diamonds and give them to her. Thinking that his wife had died, Leo fought his mother for control of her gun. In the struggle, the two fell into the waterfalls and were presumed dead. Trey, meanwhile, managed to combat a fear of heights and rescue Greenlee. Anna gave David the sad news about his family. Frank and Simone continued their relationship. Jake told Mia that she can trust him. Maria remembered meeting David for the first time. She was also able to save Sam when he choked on his breakfast.

Carly agreed to media coverage of her wedding in exchange for Craig retrieving Molly's stolen check from Rosanna. When Henry told Katie he was working for Rosanna, Katie told him they would not work for family members or those closely associated with them. Katie exposed Rosanna's business to Craig. Hal turned the arson investigation over to Jack but arrested Aaron anyway. Later, Jessica dropped the charges against Aaron because of circumstantial evidence. Will continued to have seizures but called out for Hal after a conversation with Alison. Bonnie told Marshall that she was solely responsible for his surveillance and they agreed to stay out of each other's lives. Marshall and Paul told Brandy they no longer need her services. After Jessica and Ben made love, she called off her arrangement with Paul and admitted to Marshall that she is being blackmailed. In an attempt to handle Paul for Jessica, Marshall told Paul that he would cooperate with him.

Massimo broke through the door of Erica's apartment and rescued Amber, but Sheila escaped as the police arrived and left to plead Erica's case to Eric. Brooke told Eric that she has thought about reconciling with him but thinks he and Stephanie should be together. Rick insisted that Erica stop as Ridge arrived to tell him about Amber and reveal Erica's true identity. Rick blasted Erica and was relieved when Amber came home. Eric was stunned to see Sheila and realize that Erica is really Mary Warwick. Thinking Sheila would go see Eric, Taylor went to the Forrester house and was shot while trying to prevent Sheila from shooting Brooke. Later, Brooke was shot when she tried to prevent Sheila from shooting Eric. Ridge and Stephanie were shocked when they discovered that Taylor and Brooke had been shot while struggling with Sheila for her gun. Later, Erica visited Sheila in jail and they blasted each other about their current state of affairs.

Guiding Light

Reva prepared her family for her soon-to-be departure for prison. Josh dished out some hard-talking to Cassie who later seemed to somewhat soften to Revas predicament. Cassie started to realize that perhaps Reva did act on Richards wishes and then suspected Edmund was keeping more secrets. Danny vowed to protect Cassie when she again failed to come through for her debt to the mob. Beth and Bill couldnt hide their feelings for each or from others as they continued their steamy liaison. Phillips rejection of Olivia forced her to plan an early I do to Alan that was later thwarted by Alexandra who was holding all the cards. Michelle, Marah, Bill, Ben and Romey moved into together at the old Mahler house. Danny and Tony decided to keep Eden close, while Gus decided to help Harley discover Edens secret. Marinas plan to snag Ben at the Millennium college night turned deadly when she inadvertently became Edens unsuspecting target and walked into the middle of Harley and Guss sting to get the goods on Eden.

Jack left the cave and ran into Livvie. Marissa caught Ricky with her journal and was furious. Jack had returned to the cave but called to let his friends know he was okay. Kevin walked in on Ian and Lucy having a pillow fight. Jack named the girl "Tess" as he got to know her. Livvie presented Rafe with annulment papers. Lucy was terrified when she realized Kevin had drugged Ian but Ian came to just in time. Livvie set a deadly trap for Alison but fell in it herself. Jack and Tess got closer to each other. Rafe got Alison's engagement ring and met her mother.

Tad tried to cheer Brooke, but neither felt cheerful after Jamie voiced his anger regarding Edmund. After spying Maria kissing Aidan, Edmund grabbed his wife and pulled her into a passionate kiss. This surprised Maria and caused her to think that she might want to try to remember her previous life. Kendall forced Trey to make a list of all the horrible things he has done since arriving in Pine Valley. Leo was shocked when he learned about those things and he was also shocked to learn that Trey and Kendall are siblings. Anna continued her investigation of David. Jake determined that Frank must be the father of Mia's child.

Sheila kidnapped Amber and planted her tracking device in an alley, along with tequila and drugs. At Erica's apartment, Sheila tormented Amber at gunpoint with Erica's plans for Rick. Erica offered to give Rick his own child and began to seduce him. Ridge and Taylor were shocked to find Amber missing and the police searching for her. When Sheila phoned Massimo to ask him to take her out of the country, Stephanie recognized her voice and put two and two together. After getting the address of Erica's apartment from Taylor, Stephanie and Massimo set out to rescue Amber from Sheila. C.J. questioned Bridget about her mentor.

When Livvie tried to blackmail him, Frank told Karen the truth. Alison and Rafe were joyously reunited on the train to live normal lives together. Karen decided to stand by Frank. Kevin called Lucy but Ian answered. Livvie wanted Jack back. Kevin wanted to go home but wasn't ready. Jack awoke in a cave with a strange woman as Casey, Ricky and Jamal searched for him and hiss bike was found miles away. Alison and Rafe argued with Livvie and Livvie said she would not give Rafe a divorce easily. Kevin stole the keys to the asylum. Rafe proposed to Alison who accepted. Jack saw his captor and she was a dead ringer for Livvie.

After some initial discomfort, Aidan and Maria drew closer and shared a kiss. Vanessa confessed that she was once Richard Field's lover and it was learned that she overheard Erica's rape. Kendall and Trey took tests to determine if they are in fact siblings. After David begged for his assistance, Leo stole crucial evidence from the PVPD. Jack did not tell Anna that the evidence was missing, but he did warn Leo. David managed to steal back the vial of serum. Brooke was crushed when she saw Edmund without his wedding ring.

Because Aaron is considered a hero, Holden, Julie, and Caleb agreed to let him remain in Oakdale. Although Aaron denied starting the fire, Abigail continued to be suspicious of him. Will underwent surgery to prevent brain damage but remained unconscious. While searching through the rubble at the barn, Hal found the Seattle matchbook Will used to start the fire. Marshall and Jessica made love again and Paul viewed the videotaped event. Because Marshall discovered that Bonnie and company bugged his hotel room, Jessica dropped out of the election and confided in Margo about her affair. James phoned Marshall and reminded him that he owns him. Katie, Simon, and Henry made plans to start a private investigation business in Oakdale. Jack agreed to let Carly work with Craig. Rosanna continued to ask questions about the anonymous donation to the hospital. As Paul was about to leave the surveillance closet with the videotape, Jack came in with his gun drawn.

Sheila hid behind a plant when Stephanie answered Massimo's door, became irritated to learn that Stephanie is involved with Massimo, and later told Massimo to forget about her when he realized that she knows Stephanie. Filled with pride about their children, Eric kissed Brooke. Although they both thought a lot about the kiss, Eric took Brooke's advice when she encouraged him to pursue Stephanie more aggressively. Bridget was very impressed with her new mentor, Dr. Mark Maclaine. With the kids spending the night with Eric and Stephanie, and Taylor and Ridge out on the town, Amber was shocked to find Sheila at the door, and even more so when Sheila revealed that Erica is her daughter.

Unbeknownst to Cassie, Reva changed her plea to guilty and almost certain jail time after realizing a trial was too much for Cassie to bear. Edmund's conscience lost out to his inner demons as he destroyed the only copy of Richard's living will, evidence that could have set Reva free. Danny struggled with his decision to stay out of Robbie's life. Harley and Blake tried to figure out Eden's profession as a last shot at Harley winning back custody of Zach. Beth and Bill finally gave in to their passion for each other, as ironically did Phillip and Olivia. Alexandra put the squeeze on the "pretending to be ill" Alan to either sign over power of attorney or risk his scam being revealed to Olivia and Phillip. Bill and Ben decided to become roommates

Karen reluctantly agreed to help Ian stop Frank. Shot by Livvie, Rafe died in Alison's arms and returned to heaven. Alison confronted Livvie. Jack and Jamal went to find who had been at their campsite. Marissa, at the motel alone with Ricky, acted strangely. Karen confronted the Avatar to save Frank but the victory was short lived as the Avatar attacked him. Alison decided to leave PC. Karen fought to save Frank as Ian called for the Avatar to take him as host but then rejected it, destroying it. Livvie tried to get back with Jack but he rejected her. Jack got trapped in the woods. Rafe returned to be with Alison.

Anna was determined not to let David get away with his latest in a long line of lies and crimes. The Chief of Police pleaded with Liza to help her. When David would not let Anna leave with evidence, she threatened him with a gun. Kendall told Jack her theory about Trey setting the fire at Erica's house. While Kendall and Greenlee worked together to bring Trey down, Leo and his brother continued to grow closer. David reluctantly agreed to let Trey live with him. Trey and Maggie bonded over being unwelcome in Pine Valley. Petey continued to be a troublemaker. Maria believed David's stories despite pleas from everyone to recognize his deceit.

Susan decided to pay for Alison's tuition to Wentworth and was very upset when Alison smashed a trophy case and was refused admission. Caleb and Julie arrived to take Aaron back to Seattle. Aaron rescued Will and Luke from a fire (started by Will) in the Snyder barn. Lucy begged Caleb to reconsider taking Aaron back to Seattle. Aaron punched Craig when Craig made accusatory remarks to him about the fire. Abigail incorrectly suspected that Aaron was involved in starting the fire. Marshall and Jessica made love at a different hotel. Marshall was caught on tape having a phone conversation with James. Hal asked Margo to help locate James. Craig told Mike that Lucinda made the anonymous donation and Lucinda verified the information to Mike and Rosanna. Jack and Rosanna were not happy to learn that Carly is BRO's new designer, despite a clause in the contract forbidding romantic interaction between Craig and Carly.

Sheila convinced Erica that she must make herself invaluable to Rick and the Forresters. Erica's demo tape was approved as the new voice of the Ambrosia radio campaign, much to Amber's dismay. Erica unsuccessfully tried to seduce Rick. Stephanie arranged for Brooke and Eric to attend the ceremony for Bridget's acceptance into medical school. Brooke became optimistic when Eric pledged to help reunite their family, beginning with a family dinner, but was brought back to reality when Bridget reminded her about Deacon. Stephanie discovered an earring at Massimo's apartment as Sheila knocked on his door.

Alexandra Spaulding returned to Springfield with a commanding presence and bought out the Beacon giving Cassie the financial help she so desperately needed to pay off the mob and keep her and Danny alive. Alan knew Alex's game and that corporate war was lurking. Gus threatened Phillip to return Zack to Harley or he would spill the truth about his liaison with Olivia to all of Springfield. Harley and Eden just couldn't see eye to eye. Phillip came clean to Beth about how Alan had his heart attack and his feelings for Olivia. Beth and Phillip's problems seemed to outweigh their love for each other and both agreed to end their relationship as amicably as possible. Lizzie spilled the beans to Alan about her parents split, and Alan used the information to lay guilt on Olivia by feigning another heart attack and forced her to agree to marry him in order to push her out of Phillip's life permanently. Michele's attempts to drown away her marital woes with Ben almost went too far. Rick returned to Springfield looking fit, but was disappointed to hear the problems of his family and friends.

Frank didn't kill Alison but told her to leave PC. Alison was determined to keep her promise to Rafe but got caught in a bear trap while Livvie packed her things to make it look like she'd left town. Marissa, Jack, Jamal and Ricky left on a camping trip but trouble followed them. Rafe accused Livvie of doing something to Alison. Kate and Lucy discovered they had a lot in common. Rafe ended it with Livvie and went to find Alison. Chris' idea for the Avatar had unexpected consequences. Rafe's search led him to the barn and Alison soon arrived. Lucy went to visit Kevin. Rafe's memory returned and he and Alison were joyously reunited but Livvie had other plans.

Anna fought with David about the future of their child and David's role as a parent. She promised him that he would not get away with using Maria as a guinea pig. Maria was confused about what to do concerning Sam and Maddie, especially after Edmund continued to pressure her to try to remember the life they once shared. Stuart, Marian, and Mia teamed together to try to get Liza and Adam to see how much they are hurting Colby. Greenlee and Kendall joined forces to combat Erica. Frank and Simone continued to spend time together. Jake and Mia consummated their relationship.

Hal interceded and prevented Isaac and Marshall from coming to blows. Isaac broke up with Bonnie and Jessica insisted that Marshall tell Isaac the truth about Bonnie's visit. Marshall kissed Jessica. Simon agreed to investigate Marshall for Bonnie and Paul, and enlisted Henry's assistance. Marshall hired Brandy to spy on Paul and Bonnie. Craig convinced Lisa that Carly had abandoned her. Rosanna told Craig that he could not run BRO if that meant hiring Carly. Unable to convince Lisa that Craig lied, Carly accepted Craig's offer. Alison told Emily the truth about Rosanna. Emily confronted Rosanna and convinced her to withdraw Cabot's offer to fund boarding school for Alison. Craig quietly fumed after Lucy was mildly injured in a motorcycle accident with Aaron. Holden asked Julie and Caleb to take Aaron back to Seattle. Molly continued to wrestle with her conscience about Mike's job and they made love.

Taylor bailed Amber out of jail and the judge ordered that she be placed under house arrest at Taylor and Ridge's house. Amber speculated about Erica's mother's possible involvement. Ridge and Amber clashed at every turn. An angry Ridge left to visit Eric but spent some time with Brooke instead. Brooke was supportive but advised Ridge to go home to Taylor. Rick told Erica about Mary and James Warwick. Erica blasted Sheila for everything she has done and Sheila tried to convince her to become pregnant by Rick. Bridget and C.J. discussed their feelings for each other and kissed again.

Phillip and Olivias pretend romantic tryst to make Alan jealous landed him in the hospital but forced Phillip and Olivia to re-think their real feelings for each other. Gus manipulated Lizzie into alerting another powerful Spaulding about Alans condition that could ultimately put the company stock in jeopardy. Gus gave Phillip food for thought regarding his bribe to Eden, while Eden came through for Gus and gave him the support he needed to help him win back custody of Zack for Harley. Meanwhile, Harley pretended to be Eden so she could use the information against her to make her admit that she lied at the custody hearing, but Frank acted as Harleys knight in shining armor before she could get any solid proof. Josh and Reva bought back Cassies engagement ring in the hopes she may accept it from them in the future. Cassie got the squeeze from the Santos clan to pay back her debt or, while Tammy awaited the results of her shoplifting decision. Reva called a family conference to help her weigh her legal options; accept a plea bargain for less jail time, or take a chance that the jury would understand her actions and find her not guilty; neither of which was particularly favorable to Reva.

Alison and Rafe finally admitted their feelings for each other. Kevin terrified Lucy when he said he was Ryan and tried to kill her until the Avatar stepped in. Ian discovered Kate's secret and offered to help. Livvie saw Rafe and Alison embracing and was furious. They argued and Rafe decided he had to give himself and Alison a chance. Frank admitted to Karen that he couldn't control the Avatar. Livvie told Frank to kill Alison. Lucy and Victor took Kevin somewhere safe. Rafe and Alison made a date. The Avatar held Alison hostage as Rafe waited for her and Livvie packed her things. Ian comforted Lucy. Alison prayed and waited to die.

Liza was excited when Colby returned to town, but she was less than enthused to see her husband. The couple bickered and Adam threatened to give Liza the fight of her life for custody of Colby. Edmund tried to cope with Maria's memory loss, although he became angered when he saw how close she is to Aidan. Anna forced David to sign divorce papers. The Chief of Police also threatened her husband with prison time unless he leaves Pine Valley. After Anna collapsed, David snooped through hospital computer records and discovered that she was pregnant. Isabella confronted Brooke about keeping Maria a secret. Frank asked Simone out on a date. Petey blackmailed Kendall after Kendall and JR shared a kiss.

After escaping Margo's attempted arrest, Lucinda caught Henry with cash from her safe, took him to Simon and insisted that he help with the renovations at the carriage house. Margo was unhappy to learn that her job endangers her health. Barbara agreed to sell BRO to Rosanna for twice her original offer and a promise that Craig will not become involved. Rosanna gave BRO to Craig and told him to ruin Carly. Carly refused when Craig offered her the position of head designer at BRO. Alison became furious when she learned that Rosanna suggested the private boarding school in Wisconsin. Holden helped Hal spend time with Will. Barbara threatened Hal with leaving the country with Will. Marshall admitted to Jessica that he has romantic feelings for her. Bonnie distracted Marshall while Paul searched his room. Paul was surprised to find Brandy rummaging through Marshall's belongings. Isaac confronted Marshall about Bonnie being in his hotel room.

Ridge was annoyed when Taylor rushed off to the jail to help Amber. Amber told Taylor that it's no coincidence that Erica and Lance lived in the same apartment complex. Rick comforted Erica and kissed her. Sheila and Massimo shared an intimate night at his apartment. Rick visited Amber in jail but left abruptly when she told him that Erica is somehow involved. Erica was stunned to discover that her mother was once married to Eric Forrester and set Amber up. During lunch with Brooke and Stephanie, Bridget suggested that Brooke name the baby "Hope." Certain that Bridget would leave Insomnia because she is mending fences with her mom, C.J. blasted Bridget, which led to a passionate kiss.

Eden bribed Phillip for more money to keep silent about her part in helping him win custody of Zach unaware that Eden truly was the guilty party and not Gus. Gus fought back and warned Phillip that Beth's arrest for bigamy was only the beginning of his problems until Harley regained custody of Zach. Tony was unaware of the dangers of dating Eden. Danny eavesdropped on Michelle and Bill on the island and decided to sacrifice his happiness for the sake of Robby's future to have a happy and safe life. Lizzie and Tammy were arrested for shoplifting Cassie's engagement ring from the jewelry store. Ed tried to help Cassie with by offering her a loan for Tammy's bail money, but Cassie's life and financial desperation took a spiral when she later begged Danny to hire her as a the stripper for a private party at Inferno so she could get quick money to make her loan payment to the mob. Sam ruined a romantic interlude for Alan and Olivia when he informed Olivia that Alan bugged her special earrings.
